I’ve managed to do a lot of different things over the years. Sometimes, despite my best efforts, I even managed to succeed at them! Between food service, euphonium and trombone performance, supervising and managing people, and quality assurance in pharmaceuticals and medical devices, I’ve been in the work force for 45 years. Just in case you’re wondering, no, I’m not too old to mow the grass or build a workbench.

Following retirement from the Army in late 1994, I managed purely by happenstance to land a job in quality assurance pharmaceuticals. I’ve gone to medical devices both in quality assurance and in production, returned to pharma, went to a contract laboratory as a QA auditor, and then took a position as Quality Manager back in medical devices.

But that wasn’t quite enough. I felt a pull back to pharma, so I took a job as Quality Manager with a 503(B) company in Mississippi, but then after a layoff, went to another 503(B) company in Little Rock, Arkansas. It’s been a great ride and a great way to make a living. You can contact me if you’d like a copy of my resume, or visit me in LinkedIn.

I am certified as an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality, Organizational Excellence (ASQ-CMQ/OE) with an initial certification date of March 2010.
