I’ve managed to do a lot of different things over the years. Sometimes, despite my best efforts, I even managed to succeed at them! Between food service, euphonium and trombone performance, supervising and managing people, and quality assurance in pharmaceuticals and medical devices, I’ve been in the work force for close to 40 years. Just in case you’re wondering, no, I’m not too old to mow the grass or build a workbench.
Following retirement from the Army in late 1994, I managed purely by happenstance to land a job in quality assurance pharmaceuticals. I’ve gone to medical devices both in quality assurance and in production, returned to pharma, went to a contract laboratory as a QA auditor, and am now a QA Manager back in medical devices. It’s a great way to make a living. You can contact me if you’d like a copy of my resume, or visit me in LinkedIn.
